The agreement was reached at the first round of the Japan-US economic dialogue between Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence in Tokyo on Tuesday.
The two ministers agreed to hold the second round of the dialogue by the end of this year.
