896.北朝鮮またミサイル発射、国連安保理協議ー2017.5.23～24

北朝鮮が、また、新型の中距離弾道ミサイルを発射し、立ち会ったキム・ジョンウン朝鮮労働党委員長が、ミサイルの実戦配備と量産を指示しました。
北朝鮮の国営メディアは、22日「北朝鮮は、新型中距離弾道ミサイル「北極星2」の実戦配備に向けた最終発射実験を行い、成功した」と報じました。
今回発射されたミサイルは、SLBM=潜水艦発射ミサイルを地上配備型に改良したもので、国営テレビの映像は、移動式の発射台に搭載されたミサイルが、ガスなどの圧力によって射出された後空中で点火する「コールド・ランチ」と呼ばれる技術を使って発射された様子をさまざまな角度からとらえて伝えています。
発射に立ち会ったキム・ジョンウン朝鮮労働党委員長は、ミサイルの実戦配備を承認、量産化するよう指示したと伝えています。
韓国軍合同参謀本部は、「北極星2」について、固体燃料を利用した新型の中距離弾道ミサイルと判断し、射程は、およそ2500キロとみています。

一方、国連安全保障理事会は、23日、北朝鮮が21日中距離弾道ミサイルを発射したことを受けて、緊急会合を開き、この問題を討議した結果、現在ある北朝鮮に対する制裁決議をより確実に履行していくことでは一致しましたが、新たな制裁決議を目指すことについては、意見はまとまりませんでした。

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has approved the deployment of a new intermediate ballistic missile and ordered its mass production, following another successful test.
North Korea’s state media reports that leader Kim supervised the launch test and praised it, describing the test as perfect and said his country’s nuclear arms should be more diversified and advanced.
The “Pukgukson-2” missile was an upgraded version of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.
The state media says that the purpose of the test was to finally verify all the technical indexes of the weapon system and thoroughly examine its adaptability under various battle conditions, before its deployment at military units for action.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un approved the deployment of the missile to be used by the military and ordered that it should be rapidly mass-produced.
The latest test came just a week after North Korea said it had successfully tested a new type of ballistic missile that flew nearly 800 kilometers and traveled as high as about 2,100 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday held an emergency meeting to discuss the North Korean missile launch. The 15 members of the Security Council reaffirmed that they will implement sanctions against the country, but they remained divided over imposing additional sanctions.
